SRT (Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar) Phone Review | Inspired from Sachin Tendulkar|


Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar-backed domestic startup Smartron launched the lower 
mid-range srt.phone in India starting at Rs 12,999 for the base 32GB model. The 64 gig model of the srt.phone, has meanwhile, been priced at Rs 13,999. Both the versions will be exclusively available for buying from Flipkart. Smartron will be offering a free back-cover, one year of t.care warranty and an additional Rs 1,500 off on exchange of an older phone with srt.phone, it announced.
Boasting of a polycarbonate body the srt.phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The srt moniker, if you haven't guessed already, stands for Sachin Tendulkar in abbreviated form. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor clubbed with 4GB of RAM. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Nougat software and an unmodified stock version of it, at that.
The srt.phone comes with a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and supports fast charging. It supports 4G LTE and USB Type-C for charging and data syncing.
Smartron previously launched the t.phone in India for Rs 24,999. The Smartron t.phone came with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 protective covering on top. The phone was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The dual-SIM phone ran Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
On the camera front, the phone had a 13-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash along with a 4-megapixel front-facing snapper. The phone was further backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
